1) Areas you may like to target over the next few weeks are tables and spellings.
www.topmarks.co.uk Hit the button is a fun game for practising tables.
www.learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/games/wordshake is another fun game to practise spellings.
2) Join Mathlethics. This is a website packed full of maths games. Children can play against each other and work on all the skills that they will have already covered this year.

3) Duolingo is a free app that can be downloaded on a smart phone or tablet. This app is an enjoyable way for your child to engage with Irish or different languages.
4) If your child is older, there are some excellent websites for coding. There are plenty of tutorials online https://scratch.mit.edu and on youtube.

6) Twinkl are offering a free month to parents. This is a great website full of printable activities from Junior Infants to the Senior end of the school. Setting this up is really easy to do - go to www.twinkl.ie/offer and enter the code IRLTWINKLHELPS.

8) Read, Read, Read!! Please encourage your child to continue to read over the next few weeks. As stated above the school will be open next Wednesday 18th of March from 9am-3pm if your child would like to take books from the school libraries or from their desks.
